Santa Barbara County Parks Division now offers cabins in your tenting comfort! Jalama Beach is roughly an hour drive from Santa Barbara and a 45-minute drive from Lompoc. An indication four.5 miles south of Lompoc off Highway 1 will direct you onto Jalama Highway. Observe this scenic 14.5 mile highway to the coast. The park entrance will probably be at the end of the street. Jalama is subject to excessive winds and tough surf. Lifeguards are on duty in the course of the summer months, nonetheless visitors swim at their own risk.

There is a 2-evening minimal stay on weekends and a three-night time minimal keep on holiday weekends. Reservations can’t be made for similar-day arrivals on-line. Stroll-ins are welcome depending on availability. Each web site, except group camping websites, are allowed two vehicles. Nightly charges apply for 2nd car (joiner) and can be charged on the gate upon arrival.
